Frequently asked
- How do I sign in?
- There are no passwords. Enter your email on the sign-in screen and tap “Email me a magic link”, then open the link from your inbox to be signed straight in. If the email doesn't arrive, check spam and make sure you typed the address correctly.
- How does the game work?
- You pick eight clubs — exactly two from each of England's top four divisions — for 24 points, and lock them in. Your squad then scores across the whole season: each club's league points plus its goal difference. You pick once in August; there are no weekly transfers.
- Can I change my squad after I pick?
- No — the game is “set & forget” by design. Once you lock in your squad it stays for the whole season, so choose carefully.
- How do I play with friends?
- Create a private league in the Leagues tab and share the invite code. Anyone with the app can join with that code. You can also make a league public so others can find it.
- What is Second Wind?
- Second Wind belongs to the knockout tournaments the same game also runs (a World Cup or Euros), not to a league season — over a season nobody is knocked out. In a tournament, if your whole squad goes out it lets you back a team that's still in it to win the whole thing: a second game with its own leaderboard, open to everyone from the semi-finals.
- When do scores update?
- Scores update automatically as real matches finish. Leaderboard reveals happen on a daily schedule (6pm UK time), and you'll get a notification when the table moves if you've enabled them.
- How do I turn notifications off?
- In the app, open Account → Privacy & notifications and toggle off any alerts you don't want. You can also manage them in your phone's Settings.
- How do I delete my account or data?
- In the app, open the Account tab and tap “Delete account” — that removes your account and personal data straight away. If you'd rather we did it, email j@wallis.dev. See our Privacy Policy for details.
